First Aid | CPR | AED

Everyone especially divers should know first aid

First  Aid, CPR, and AED training are suggested for everyone whether a diver  or not.  Divers should keep these skills up to date and must have these  certifications when taking the rescue course.  As a diver, be sure you  have first aid and rescue skills.  Expect all your buddies to be trained  in these skills as well.  Also complete Emergency Oxygen Provider  certification which is required to buy and administer emergency oxygen,  the primary first aid treatment for scuba related injuries.

EFR Primary and Secondary Care

You will learn BLS (Basic Life Support) CPR and rescue breathing at the layperson level,

AED (Automated External Defibrillator) use, preventing and caring for shock, spinal injury management, use of barriers to reduce disease transmission risks, basic first aid, first aid kit considerations, treatment of common marine injuries, and more.

This course follows curriculum developed by Emergency First Response Corporation.
